Keith wrote this song a few years ago when thinking back on his time playing guitar in a very exclusive night club in Mallorca back in the 1980's.
There was a heavily tanned young man at the bar holding court when his wealthy, older lady friend arrived and put him down in front of everybody.
He was angry but could say nothing. In a relationship of that sort, people make their choices and then have to live with them....
Keith tried various ways of recording this song as the heavy brass slide he uses (a Mighty Mite bought in California in 1974) makes a whining or 'singing' type of noise on the Takamine as the strings produce various high harmonics on the neck.
At one point you can hear the harmonics jump out and Keith added some effects to this to bring out the sound.
