Hi Keith

Got to agree with the last message - 'Pygmy' my favourite too. Didn't realise until my wife-to-be mentioned it, that I always played when we'd had an argument!

Saw you, supporting Magma (I think) at Leicester Poly in about 1974. I also managed to grab your plectrum! As you walked down to the stage between the seating, you dropped it, so I put my foot on it! Still have it - a black Gibson plectrum - nearest I ever got to owning anything by Gibson.....

Best wishes for the future, and PLEASE could you use your influence to re-release 'Pygmy'?

Cheers

Ken Wright

Saw you around 1970/1 at The George, Norton Saint Phillip. Favourite song was Robin Head. Was it ever recorded? Came with friends Dale and (?) from Trowbridge. A fantastic night.

Hello Keith,

What memories! all night gigs at Sussex Uni. -3 that i remember well despite the hazy atmosphere! - yours was always the best set of the night; fantastic guitar playing, a great voice and humour to go with it even at 3.00am. Glastonbury in the 1980's on the acoustic stage.

'Fable of the wings', 'Pygmy', 'Brighter Day' played until they were worn out, get them back out on CD now!

Hope to catch up with you if you ever venture back down to the South coast. Best wishes and hope to see you playing soon.

Kevin

Forgot to mention that Im a supertramp nut. Saw their gig in the gardens of Demontfort hall leicester in July.

Fantastic, very bluesy now, but not the same without His Royal Hodgson.

Mr Hodgson has an excellent website www.rogerhodgson.com,and a sister site www.solotramp.com

His solo album Open the Door is exceptional.

See Ya

Yes, I saw K C at The Beckenham free festival in 1969, I thought he was great!

Yes and I saw him a couple of years later at the roundhouse... - cool! he wore a headband and I thought he was a REAL HIPPIE - great to find out that some of these people are still about

Hello Keith

Been a fan since Brighter Day.Lent the album(one with your fizog on the front) to someone, never got it back.Got another copy(the one released in the states.

Moved on to 'human zoo'( astronaut ..Great track)

Saw you in a pub called the lyceum in Newport in 1989,along with my wife who was heavily pregnant. In fact you bought us both a drink and wished us well.We were very touched.I recall, you had some little people of your own at the gig ,along with a dos bag.I remember them cuching up all cosy,in the corner of the room

We had a boy by the way , a few weeks after the gig.(Billie) . He's 13 now , plays piano and drums.

Hes been joined by Jack who is 10. Jack also plays drums.

Jude and I had the pleasure of seeing you again sometime in the 90's in a pub near Monmouth (The Black Rock I think. Another special evening.Bought Red House.

Lost touch since. Nice to see you are still doing your bit.Any gigs planned for South Wales? Good luck

Keith,

good to see you're still going strong...

have kept Pygmy close to my heart for many a year (like 30 years!)

still play it when I'm happy, play it when I'm sad, so it gets a few outings one way or another every year!

Looking forward to hearing the fruits of your new ventures

Best wishes

Mike

What larks, Pip!

Great to hear you on Radio 4 this morning - i\'s so good to be a grownup!

Now I'm inspired to get all your stuff on some contemporary format or other - and looking forward to revisiting many wonderful old songs and discovering many new ones.

Warmest wishes to you and your loved ones.

Hi there

Saw you with Weathermen band in Bath eleven years ago. Mightily impressed by that.

Saw you again some time later at a pub in Harborne, Birmingham playing an acoustic set.

Are you making any appearences in the near future?

Very best wishes

Hello Keith. I was reminising about 'gigs' at my old college. Thought I'd check a few names out on the net. Couldn't believe I'd found this site. Great site, your music brings back memories of Norfolk College of Arts and Technology, Kings Lynn- circa 72/73.

Hi, Keith,Been listening to some of your recent material on your website. A teacher at my school in Maidstone, Kent was talking about the 60's and 70's music scene and your name came up - he was well impressed that I used to teach with you. Glad to see life is treating you well since leaving Speedwell. I too am loving every minute of my new life in Whitstable, Kent. Drop in , if ever you are up this way, Best wishes, Carol X

Martin Pinner

Hello Keith, I enjoyed seeing you a few times at the Les Cousins all-nighters - would have been about 1969, I think. You played a Fender Palamino and, as a young impressionable guitar picker, I thought you were the best player I'd seen; certainly the fastest!

I don't have access to your albums, but I think you used to close with a storming 'Race with the Devil'

Best wishes,

Martin

Hi Keith and Mrs C,

I saw Keith on the OGWT in the early seventies and played it over and over on my reel to reel. I have never seen nor heard anything of you since, I'm sorry to say, but I'm currently on a Who's Still Alive From the '70s campaign and was delighted to find your sites. I look forward to hearing your new stuff, and also to the re-issues. Best wishes.

PS Look Shawn Phillips up - he's a fireman!

Hello keith, I'm from Greece, city of Thessaloniki.

I heard about you from a friend of mine, and I thought to visit your web site. I heard your music, I like it and I would like to know if that music will be included in a new cd.

Kind regards,

Kyriakos.

Del Buck

Hello Keith. You gave me many happy hours back in the seventies listening to your first three albums and playing along in the solos - now they've gone the way of all much-played vinyl (and I don't even have a turntable any more!) so get them out on CD soon while there's still some of us old hippies alive.

Glad to hear you\'re still doing it. I'll buy the Woronow album when I see it.

Just to say Hi.

I look forward to your new album.

Any news on the reissue of Brighter days ?

I used to own it along with Pygmy and Tales from the Human Zoo.

Just bought your 'Stories from the human zoo' album (second-hand that is), which is great. Good to read that you\'re releasing an album for the Woronzow label. I'm a big fan of the label.

Good to see you're still going strong. Was originally inspired by your appearance on the Whistle Test and used to try & emulate your style for many sunny hours in Keynsham Park near Bristol. Given up teaching - good. I'm now a bleeding Headteacher for my sins in Wolverhampton. You're making me homesick. Looking forward to Brighter Day on CD.

Wishing you many years of success to come.
